"We stayed one night and were enchanted with the fortress turned hotel in the heart of Sorano. Our room had amazing views of the surrounding town, the breakfast had fantastic coffee and a wide assortment of meats, cheeses, breads, and pastries. The owners tour of the underground wine cellars and wine making process capped off with a tasting was informative and delicious."

Our guest room was clean, spacious and well decorated. Owner Francesca was very focused on servicing our requests. She also very effectively arranged our transportation requests. The daily buffet breakfast was excellent - superb pastries, fresh fruits and plenty of other assorted items in a very comfortable patio setting. Just over the top in all aspects of our stay. "Absolutely lovely- peaceful, quiet, good location for exploring the area. Large room- bedroom and living room. Restaurant right outside the door. Only downside is that you cannot control the a/c in your room. "
