No staff on site check in and out done over WhatsApp which makes it difficult if you have questions, and generally how to get in and out of the building. The door handle on our door was missing so we struggled shutting the door everytime we left without having to slam it shut. "

The building is a cool authentic Roman building in an authentic residential neighborhood, but just a 10 or fifteen minute walk from the Colosseum and the Forum. I walked the whole city from the location, but if you don't want to walk, there is a metro station that will get you anywhere on the corner. In this neighborhood, it seems like every time you turn a corner, you come across ancient Roman history. If...

"Friendly and helpful staff in a hotel with a flourish. No problems with the buffet breakfast (a wide selection of pastries, continental and cooked including gluten free options) and if we asked they’d help or provide anything needed. Really handy to get to the Vatican being only a 10min walk away and close to the metro for easy access into the city centre or Trastervere. Meals in the restaurant & pizzeria are a little on the pricier side when compared with restaurants in the city is one thing...

"Brilliant hotel, great location. A couple of things could be better but overall a great stay and I would stay again. I will start with the 3 negatives we experienced and then the positives. The negatives - The mattress was a well worn memory foam mattress and you could just feel huge dips, lumps and impressions. Not up to the standard to match the hotel but the pillows are good. - in the room above the door is a square light which has a green light in it, so I think it’s an emergency light...
