"Great peaceful compound, but I was lucky to get in - having booked and paid for a nonrefundable room on Expedia the day before, on arrival they didn't know anything about it and said they were sold out. "This place is the very definition of a 'hidden gem'. Burried deep within the hustle and bustle of the old town, arriving at Tulia Old Town is like arriving at an oasis after a long trek through the desert. The lucious balcony full of hanging plants, overlooking the palm trees and mangroves and across the creek to Nyali is such a pleasure to discover after wandering through the concrete jungle. I can't wait to come back again!"
