"A perfect place to kick back and relax in the sun, swim in the ocean (or one of two pools), and take it easy. I enjoyed the casual evening entertainment (a talented singer and band by the pool). The staff was friendly, and the restaurant in a beautifully-restored wooden dhow was a special experience. This is apparently a German-owned resort and German-speaking guests would feel especially at home here. "

"I didn’t expect much from this place before I booked it but I was completely surprised after the first day. The property was right on the beach and the staff was great and friendly. The only slight problem was the wifi connection. It was slow at times. I would recommend this place to anyone considering staying on Nyali beach. "

"My wife and I, along with our 10-month-old baby, had the pleasure of staying at Southern Palms in Mombasa in September 2024, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality. We were made to feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The food at the resort was nothing short of amazing – we truly could spend the entire day indulging in the variety of delicious offerings.
