"Luckily we arrived in daylight, as the road up to the Osteria zig-zagged in impossible hairpins up from the valley. It's possible that after dark and unlit we might just have turned around and headed for somewhere flat. However, if we had done we would have missed a completely unique experience. "Room was very clean. Hotel interior was very impressive a beautiful marble staircase. The reason I scored a little low was was the exterior of the hotel definitely need some maintenance. It is really showing its age. I couldn't really comment positively on the staff because there wasn't any. This is due to this being a unique hotel and having an electronic booking system where there is no reception but you do everything online. And this also includes getting your barcode for your hotel room....
