"Das Hotel ist neu und schön eingerichtet. Es hat gute öffentliche Verkehrsmittel, mit welchem man schnell in Ascona oder Locarno ist. Toll für uns war zusätzlich, dass es Ladestationen für Elektroautos hatte. Der Tagespreis für den Parkplatz dünkt uns eher hoch und das Checkin hat auch eher länger gedauert als erwartet; das Ticino-Ticket wurde uns erst auf Nachfragen ausgehändigt und vorhin nicht erwähnt/angepriesen."

"Really clean hotel with all the amenities you need. Basic but it’s what you pay for. The location is ideal as it’s very central. Was kindly upgraded to a private bathroom too and the 10% discount for the restaurant is a bonus which was excellent food. The woman on reception was very helpful and kind too. Overall an excellent experience. "

"The hotel is perched on top of Ascona and isn’t in the old town but is about 10 mins walk down to the centre. There is limited hotel parking to call ahead to reserve it or else pay about 20 CHF per day at an offsite location which was a nuisance. This hotel has the ability to be nice provided it is EXTENSIVELY renovated. It is very dated but not in a charming way, it looks very tired. "charming hotel, front desk guy was SO helpful & nice. it is hard to find - i stopped at a pharmacy to ask for location, they didn't know & it was about 3 minute walking beyond. to find it, you can walk from the train station (10-15 min) towards the main plaza, keep going almost to the end. on the right tucked in the back, after the shops, is the entrance. only complaint is no tv channels in english. which normally isn't important, except that everything in the town except restaurants closes by...
