"Can't rave enough about this hotel!! Was in Vietnam for 2 weeks and travelled from south to north and this specific hotel was BY FAR our favourite out of all of them!! "The hotel is ideally located within walking distance of the old quarter, however Thanh Binh 1 City Hotel has very little to do with an actual hotel apart from the name. A guest house or homestay perhaps would have been more accurate. Simple requests for extra towels, toiletpaper or refill of the minibar either got no action from the staff or had to be repeatedly requested. "I was bitten by a bed bug prior to my first night in the room on the ground floor. Found a bed bug on my pillow. Brought it to the receptionist, he was kind enough to upgrade my room and changed my room, also did apologised for the inconvenience caused. However, it’d definitely be better if there isn’t any bed bugs at all."
