"This was our second time renting this property and the standards are still as high as the first time we rented. The house was clean and well stocked. This time it did not rain so we were able to enjoy the outdoor part of the property. The deck is very comfortable and the yard is spacious enough to play lawn games. The lay out of the house is perfect for our family. The long hallway provides a bedroom at the end where the younger ones can go to bed and not be disturbed by any activity in the...

"Peace, quiet. Natural beauty. Old hardwoods, and an even older house. It appears parts of this sprawling farm house (the term doesn't do it justice- it's huge!) date back to the early 18th century, and some of it a century or so later, but the modern renovation is so thoughtful (and thorough) that it all seems to blend together perfectly. The "distressed" country furnishings complete the lost in time feel. We loved our stay, and happily spent our time just hanging out, sitting on the porch...

"Quiet spot out of the city but not too far from Hudson Valley sites. Large vaulted space, fresh eggs from the hen house next door, sky full of stars at night. Great host!"
