"The large home feeling was picturesque and cozy. We loved sitting by the fireplace in the living room on a snowy afternoon. Although the website photos showed a full kitchen that one could cook in, the actual kitchenette facilities were fine for a microwaved evening meal. The large dining table and utensils, plus the food, fruit and beverages offered for breakfast were all great. The refrigerator in the bedroom allowed for good cold storage. Comfortable bed and pillows, sufficient blankets....

"This little garden house just through the greenhouse was perfect for my husband & I. We stayed for 2 nights to attend a concert @ Ulster Performing Arts Center. Comfy furniture & well-stocked with towels, bedding, dishes, utensils, etc. We used the hot tub one night as well, which was really nice. "

The room was smaller than I originally thought, but it was extremely cozy and warm with all the nice amenities inside. We loved all the nice decoration and historical feeling the room has to offer. "Peace, quiet. Natural beauty. Old hardwoods, and an even older house. It appears parts of this sprawling farm house (the term doesn't do it justice- it's huge!) date back to the early 18th century, and some of it a century or so later, but the modern renovation is so thoughtful (and thorough) that it all seems to blend together perfectly. The "distressed" country furnishings complete the lost in time feel. We loved our stay, and happily spent our time just hanging out, sitting on the porch...

"Great communication with host. Stayed one night for event at Arrowood Farms (only 10 minutes away). Clean , nicely decorated studio with plenty of light. Lovely yard. Close to all local attractions and dining. Large shower. Great towels and toiletries.TV and A/C worked well. Appreciated the drinking water.Really cozy studio. Has frig, microwave and coffee maker.(also iron and hair dryer). A fabulous stay, although water pressure was a little low, but certainly not a deal breaker. Had people...
