"The cottage itself had a great array of books, puzzles and games, and many of the pieces hanging were made by the owner, family and friends. Sorrento is off the mainstream of tourism which is nice. Wonderful for walking with views of Acadia NP along with friendly people. A great stay!"

"My wife and I felt very lucky to have found The Miners Den which is a very new creation of a great proprietor who really cares about your experience.The hand built cabin is gently fitted to the landscape of balsam firs and hardwoods with a light touch.It reminded me of the few small cabins in the White Mountains you find along the trails.Everything you need less food is provided.For a couple in their sixties with a friendly dog we will be excited to get back there and see whatā€™s happening.Oh...

"Quiet and Secluded. We had a great time sitting around the fire, great memories, very clean, The kids had a great time. The top bunk mattress was fine for my 8 year old but would have been a bit stiff for me. My older son slept on the futon he loved it. Plenty of towels, The water heater is a small one but we could each get nice hot showers if we waited a bit between. It would reheat quickly for the next shower. "
