"This was a captivating setting. If we were to stay there for a few days, it would have been delightful. As it was, we were driving back from Acadia NP. We just weren’t prudent. We were up for indoor camping and maybe even the wood stove, but elected not to stay after arriving after dark…totally our choice. Another time, it would have been PERFECT. "

"This is a great cabin located in a nice private setting, with the ocean literally feet from the door. We enjoyed our stay. It was so relaxing and we got to see the full Hunter Moon rising right over the ocean. The cabin was clean and cozy, and the kitchen had everything you could need. We enjoyed day trips to Bar Harbor/Acadia, Schoodic Peninsula, Lubec and Campobello Island. I would rent this property again in a heartbeat. "

"We had a lovely stay at this house. The beds were comfortable. We had small children, and the rooms were quiet. The downstairs has a lot of space and separate living rooms for people to have quiet time. We cooked many meals, and the kitchen worked well. Jane was a great communicator, making everything so easy. "It was really fun staying in downtown Bar Harbor and being able to walk to dinner and shops. The place is very close to Acadia National Park where we spent most of our time. Also a quick walk to Bar Island at low tide. The house is cozy, comfortable and reasonably priced. The kitchen is well-equipped if you want to cook. Comfortable bed and good water pressure in the showers. Highly recommend Havana and Parrilla for dinner; Stadium and Cafe This Way for breakfast! Would happily stay here again. "
