" We absolutely loved our time at Escape lake house in Maine! The setting was gorgeous and cannot be beat. The view is never the same and we loved watching the changing light on the water. The house is as described in the listing and the primary bedroom and bathroom are great. Note that one of the “bathrooms” is actually in a side entry room with the washer/dryer and extra stove, and is not super private. Also, 2 of the showers are very small stand-up showers. "We look for value in time share properties. This is exactly that. Not fancy. But great value for a group to stay close to a popular area. Clean, simple, close. Value. If you’re looking to be blown away atheistically, this isn’t your place. But, if you don’t want to pay top dollar to be close to bar harbor, this is the spot. I’d come here with a group again. If you’re a hiker, you’re walking distance to downtown. Close to all the Acadia bests. 5 star value. "

"Great property with amazing views located close to downtown Bar Harbor but far enough to enjoy the beautiful nature that surrounds this hilltop home. Home was very clean and they have everything you need to enjoy your stay. The host Robert was a great source of information (restaurants choices, best trails, Acadia National Park pass, etc) for our stay as he lives near the property. And we loved his golden retriever who would come up for the occasional visit. Would highly recommend renting...
