"Such a lovely property! My boyfriend and I enjoyed the beautiful views as well as the fire pit and hot tub, such a lovely spot. Our dog has never been happier getting to swim in the stunning pond and relax on the deck and screened in porch. The home inside is so lovely as well and even if the weather wasn’t 100% outside we enjoyed watching movies inside. "We have stayed at Shannon Cottage many times. It is very comfortable and well stocked. The location is perfect! It is in a quiet residential area just a couple of blocks from the town square. The fened yard is great for our dogs. The owner is lovely and provides a personal touch."

"Me and my 3 dogs stayed and had an amazing time. The location is great for excursions into the park to hike or drive around as well as easy access into Bar Harbor. The only difference between the online listing and the cabin was the carpet appears to be recently replaced with laminate flooring that made it even easier to clean up after the dogs. "This is a great cabin located in a nice private setting, with the ocean literally feet from the door. We enjoyed our stay. It was so relaxing and we got to see the full Hunter Moon rising right over the ocean. The cabin was clean and cozy, and the kitchen had everything you could need. We enjoyed day trips to Bar Harbor/Acadia, Schoodic Peninsula, Lubec and Campobello Island. I would rent this property again in a heartbeat. "
