We loved our stay here, highly recommend for anyone’s visit to Bar Harbor. Check in was easy and we were greeted with fresh coffee, cookies and baked goods in the lobby - a really nice, homey touch. Room was big and felt like we had more room than four people needed in one room, which is rare to find in a hotel room.

From the moment we checked in to check out time; the staff were cheerful, helpful and went out of their way to make us feel at home. The hotel was recently remodeled and we loved the new look. Every staff person we encountered was not only nice, but went above and beyond the scope of their role. Check in was seamless. Breakfast options were great. Food was good for a hotel breakfast. Extra touches like cookies in the afternoon, hot tea and coffee available all day were appreciated. The beds were incredibly comfortable and our room was spacious. The room and entire facility was clean.

We recently stayed at The Pathmaker and cannot say enough about how amazing it was! From the cleanliness of the rooms, the fantastic complimentary breakfast, and the staff, this hotel is definitely worth checking out! It is within walking distance of downtown Bar Harbor and a quick drive to Acadia National Park. Mackenzie was super helpful and a pleasure to chat with as was the rest of the staff! We will be highly recommending The Pathmaker to everyone we know!
