"Beautiful mountain setting, horse pasture out front. Friendly, helpful staff. Had to figure out why wi-fy wasn't working. Had to bring our own Keurig. Couldn't get to streaming tv. Tiny kitchen, few dishes."

"Arriving at Trail’s End is such a treat. The little cottage is nestled in at the end of the drive with beautiful rhododendron and rocks and a little creek on site. The back bedroom is a cozy cabin-like room with a very comfortable bed. The trails were fun to explore. Also really enjoyed the Paddy’s Creek trail in Lake James State Park and Fonta Flora brewing (whipporwil farm location) was fantastic. This is a really lovely place. "We stayed at this property to be close to family we were visiting. The home was very clean and we appreciated the layout- big kitchen open to the living room. Rocking chairs on the front porch were nice. There was a dog that lived nearby that was on the property/porch whenever we came home. He was very friendly. Heavier blankets would have been nice as the beds only had a sheet and a thin bedspread, no additional linens were in the closets. Overall we would stay here again for the location and...

"We loved our time here! We had plenty of space and had everything we could have needed in the kitchen. The beds were great and there was plenty of light for old eyes. There were lots of books to read (and good ones too) and plenty of games to play. Communication with the host was great too! We will be back! Thank you!"
