"The highlight of this home is the sunroom and its view of the valley. The Perch is clean and comfortable. It's also convenient to the Blue Ridge Parkway. My spouse and I spent most of our days driving along the Parkway and hiking on trails. We also drove down to hike Table Rock. The Perch is a great place to stay for mountain adventures!"

"The space was amazingly set, clean, and offered mountain spring water from the on site well. Delicious. If you’re looking for a spot to stay near Asheville but not too close, I highly recommend this property as a great option- about 28 minutes to downtown, with convienience stores along the way. A real delight!"

"House is beautiful and has everything we needed. Loved the room with the pool table & more. Loved the fact of no close neighbors felt secluded. We did not use the jacuzzi but that was ok. Not far from Ashville so location was not bad to get around. We had a great time and memories are priceless."

"We stayed at this lovely farmhouse while we were volunteering in Burnsville. It was very clean, comfortable, and well stocked. It was a short walk to the town center and conveniently located near grocery store. We would definitely stay here again. Great backyard area!"

"The house was spacious, exceptionally clean and well appointed. The kitchen actually has everything you could hope for, which is rare in a rental. The only issue we experienced with the house is that the hot tub is underpowered and kept blowing the fuse, but maintenance was quick to come out and help. The VRBO listing is slightly misleading about the number of rooms, there are three bedrooms and one large room over the garage, not four rooms and a common area."

"Came to visit family, my family history goes back at least 100 years in Yancey County. Drove from Florida, stayed in this cozy spot for three nights! Lots of room and decorated nicely. Lots of towels and blankets and room for privacy if you’re traveling with others. Loved the layout, the couch, the kitchen. Thank you for the hospitality and excellent communication."
