If privacy and a spectacular view are what you’re looking for then 'Chalet Wood Haven' is for you! This home has large picture windows and views of the beautiful mountains. It sits only 6 miles from downtown Black Mountain and 10 miles from downtown Asheville.

Please plan your stay at this custom home with tongue and groove ceilings, post and beam construction, hardwoods, and an impressive double-sided floor to ceiling stone fireplace. It has a screen porch, hot tub and two kitchens. There are 6 bedrooms and a 7th sleeping area (loft) . It is away from it all nestled in a private natural setting. It is comfortable and accommodating for larger groups.

The property is gorgeous as are the surrounding areas. It was immaculate and so very well stocked. Instructions for check in and check out were very clear. We celebrated my 50th birthday in the mountains. The location was quiet and the views were spectacular. The cabin is well equipped to accommodate groups, including families. We enjoyed a very comfortable stay.

Plenty of Space with a Gorgeous View
If you are looking for plenty of space with a gorgeous view, this is your place. It is a bit rustic and the drive way is very steep, but once you see the inside and gaze out into the mountains, the climb is worth it. The house has plenty of room for any Family Reunion.

40th birthday weekend getaway
Our stay was great! Lots of space and supplies available. Very picturesque setting. Some of the outside amenities were a little rough (the side of the hot tub was exposed, some of the deck was falling apart but it didn’t impact our enjoyment of the place). There also isn’t a lot of flat land surface for dogs to walk around but ours made it work. My daughter loved the toys and it definitely felt like an escape.
