"We stayed at this property to be close to family we were visiting. The home was very clean and we appreciated the layout- big kitchen open to the living room. Rocking chairs on the front porch were nice. There was a dog that lived nearby that was on the property/porch whenever we came home. He was very friendly. "Our family of 12 enjoyed a long weekend and it truly was Almost Heaven! From the amazing sunrises and sunsets to the fully appointed mountain cabin, we had an amazing time! Skiing, snowboarding, tubing, and downtown Asheville were all easy driving distances and offered fun for all!Great location and beautiful cabin atop your own mountain! Who could ask for more!"

"We loved this cabin! After a long day of volunteering with hurricane clean-up, it was nice to stay in a safe, quaint, and beautiful cabin. The driveway into the property was the only reason I did not give the "area around the property" 5 stars. However, I suspect the recent flooding is what made the driveway so bumpy. Overall, it was terrific, though! Ed was a great host!"

"Truly enjoyed the views and remoteness of this home. Bedrooms had great comfortable beds. The kitchen was well stocked and felt like bone away from home. The only recommendation we would make is to have better more comfortable seating with better cushions for the indoor and outdoor furniture. We would absolutely consider coming back if the seating was more comfy."

"For us. Everything was perfect everything what they say if you like it to be alone and enjoy quiet and natural I’m recommended. We spend a beautiful time over there no issues for us. I’m recommended to relaxing and stay away from the city. Only one little thing they say take trash with you. supposed to be trashcan down the hills, but we never found it. I’m recommended to leave the trash to owner."

"We absolutely loved this house. Being able to walk down to the river was incredible. We spent a lot of afternoons fishing and spending time in the water. They even have tubes you can use! The large deck was great for grilling out after some time in the sun. The sleep number bed was also perfect for getting a great nights rest. I highly recommend this property!"

"This property was everything we could ask for and more! It was clean and exactly as pictured. The game room was awesome to have with a group of us! The driveway is a little scary if you aren't use to mountains, but ultimately really not that bad compared to other driveways around. I loved everything about our trip and the town! Definitely one to save for your future trips!"

"We wanted a cabin in the mountains. Check. We hoped for a nice fireplace and enough rooms. Check. We didn't expect the stunning inside, the incredible quiet ... and, most especially, how our host went way above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. (One warning: the climb is pretty steep and you should take the last turn at speed in order to make it.). My kids absolutely loved our time here. Bring your fire building skills!"

Texted the contact person for the rental and was it was brand new. However, we were still there when the cleaning person came, and she said she has been problems for a while now…"
