"Had the loveliest time here! Where to start? From the central location (walkable to most main places in central Seoul, incl. sights, Jongno and Myeong-dong areas for shopping, dining etc.) to the rooms which were impeccably clean, modern and cared for. It is also incredibly convenient to have a 7/11 and a coffeeshop in the ground floor. Furthermore, the Airport Bus stop is right across the street, making it incredibly practical. Finally, the staff was friendly and attentive, able to accommodate my early check in request. If I come back, I am certainly coming back to LOTTE City Hotel Myeongdong, no need to look elsewhere. "

"Very clean and orderly. The room was small by Western standards but contained what we needed. The only complaint we would have would be the thermostat. The room was quite warm, and we never figured out how to properly program it. But we stayed at a comfortable temperature in this late February stay by opening a window. It stayed comfortable. The prominence of the hotel and its sign in the local urbanscape kept us from getting too lost as we sauntered around, exploring. Check-in and info requests at the front desk were a breeze, with the clerks all reasonably or completely fluent in English. Service was prompt and cheerful. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet. The cost was very reasonable, and the selection was great. We also stopped in for the nightly special, had pizza that was quite tasty, and were hugely entertained by the "beer glass that fills itself." We were here as a transition to finding a residence, and the Shilla Stay was a lovely vehicle for doing so."

"It’s a beautiful hotel with a few restaurants and a deli/bakery. Very close to a fancy department store and good access to public transport. What makes this hotel special is the superb and efficient service. I loved the breakfast, as there was plenty of choice to suit all palates and it was of high standard. Lots of veggie options at breakfast. The staff were wonderful and very polite, especially those at the Aria restaurant at breakfast/coffee station. I found people who worked here sweet and kind. I was very happy with my room and bathroom….spotlessly clean, had everything I need. The only thing was I drink tea (English style) and there was no milk supplied with the tea bags in the room. Room service and laundry were efficient. "

"Overall this hotel is great. Clean and easy to find. Located at Meyongdong which is close to lots of shopping areas. I would like to specially thank Luna and Rachael at reception. They are great staff whom you can reach out for questions, very nice and professional. Will definitely come back to the hotel next time when I visit Seoul."
