"This was a fantastic place to stay while visiting Chicago to go sightseeing! We LOVED that it was located steps away from a stop for the blue line of the subway (which took us directly to ohare airport as well as to the middle of the city in just a few stops) as well as a stop for the 66 bus line. The room itself was super clean and stocked with absolutely everything we needed and had a full kitchen including a dishwasher, plus a washer and a dryer! "Overall very nice stay. The only issue was that the mattress was not very comfortable & it was hard reaching property management. Other than that we really enjoyed the stay! Nice safe neighborhood with lots to do! Very close to public transportation, restaurants & shops. "

"The location was ideal in terms of getting to everything in chicago! Its at the junction of the 66 bus route (a 20 minute ride east to Navy Pier) and the Blue line (20 minute ride east to the loop/downtown/millennium park or 20 min ride west to some cool neighborhoods) The accomodations itself were adequate but lacking a little in terms of finishing touches (e.g. dusty window ledges, cover peeling off the sofa, flooring in need of repair near the sofa, dirty mattress cover on the fold out...

"We had a great stay. We weren’t able to check in when we thought we would and had to go straight to our event so we got a text message on how to get into the building. What you have available to you is just as described. Place was clean but definitely had some wear and tear. I had read reviews online and the had mentioned parking was hard so I was able to reserve a parking spot nearby through a parking app. City noise throughout the night but nothing jarring. Would stay again "

"It was right on the blue line, close enough that I could lug my heavy bags back and forth to O'Hare no problem. Close enough to the city center to make taxis or public transit a great option. Pretty quiet for the location, though there are no rugs or soft furnishings (so you will hear neighbors), and it is right next to a fire station. Still, pretty quiet! "We stayed at Sentral after a trip to the Shedd with the kids. We had a great day and evening in the city and when we finally got to our room, we couldn't believe it! It was so spacious, we could have stayed for a week. Full kitchen, stocked with appliances, utensils, plates and glasses. Two full baths, two bedrooms and more closet space than we could have possibly used. Location was close to everything you'd need. We'll definitely be back."

"I would definitely stay here again. The queen roomis so spacious. There is a mini refrigerator, a safe, two bottles of complimentary bottles of water-nice. There is plenty of drawers to put your clothes in- thoughtful. The congress plaza hotel also included a coffee pot with coffee and tea-conveient. There is one problem-the paint smell in the room. This was a little uncomfortable for me. Other than that, I say it was a really good hotel for your buck. Oh, I forgot to mention the free continental breakfast that is served in the restaurant downstairs. So, thoughtfull. I would definitely recommend The Congress Plaza hotel to anyone. "

"OMG I would recommend this Hotel to everyone. My bestie and I stayed here for our birthday trip (Sep.2024) and the service was amazing. The food was superb, customer service attentive and nice. Also the rooms were so clean. Everyone loved us and our vibrant attires each day. Downtown activities were close by so that’s a plus. Book the room!!"

"Great hotel ! We enjoyed our stay, the 2 free daily drinks and snacks and the breakfast óptions offered. It was worth every dollar paid. We did not get to use the pool but we will definitely book again in the near future. "

"I had an amazing stay at The Royal Sonesta Downtown Chicago! The location was perfect, with stunning city views and easy access to everything downtown. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and my room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully designed. The bed was super comfortable, and the amenities exceeded my expectations.
