This is one of the few hotels which has made us feel really at home: from Dominique's homemade pear cake and granola, through the rustic charm room to the late afternoon wine and cheese... "My family and I stayed in Long Beach as we had booked events in LA, along with Anaheim. This location was great as it was halfway between. Also, the area has lots of shopping, close to the pier and beach (walking distance).My boys are older so while the unit only has 2 queen beds, there are a couple of blow up mattresses that can fit in the second room.The hot tub and gym are amazing and not busy. Booked because of hot tub which we could not use the first two nights we were there because she said the pool guy had to heat it up. The other couple used it earlier that day. They had to enter our room to get to their bedroom because no expectation was...

"This spot is so adorable and the perfect space for a couple. Unfortunately, the bed was concaved in and was not good for our backs. On top of that, the windows are paper thin and you can hear EVERYTHING. As a light sleeper I would not return. "

"Loved the property! It felt like a home away from home. Small, but just right. Lovely interior along with a lots of small things to offer! Such as the shopping, food and free k-cups for coffee which saved some money every morning ;) When planning my next trip to Santa Monica, I’ll be sure to make sure your place is available for stay prior to anything else. "I liked the accessibility to the beach, restaurants and boardwalks. The rooftop view was great! The staff was very friendly! They were prompt to get maintenance when I asked why we didn’t have heat in the room for the first 2 nights and I had 3 cold showers and decided to go to the office about it. "Everything was great. I had a great stay and the staff was great. Only stayed one night but the valet were great, the receptionists were helpful in giving information, they offered me a free drink (unfortunately I didn't have time to visit their bar but I really appreciated the gesture and would have used it if I wasn't driving around), the breakfast was on time and tasty and delivered in an adorable cloth bundle. I liked that they had a form for you to plan your breakfast the night before because I didn't have much time in town and I have a hard time arranging breakfast for myself early in the morning and this was incredibly convenient. I'm also on the autism spectrum and don't like talking on the phone so appreciate that I could order breakfast without speaking to anyone. It was also close to the event I needed to be at so everything worked perfectly."

"We love the proximity to Disneyland. Two to check-in. This was our first stay. I was worried because it's best for a family. But they placed us in a quiet room. Staff was excellent. Very nice grounds. Few improvements if I may suggest. Room was clean but the rug had a rip in it and looked old. No drip coffee on the premises. There's a Keurig in the room. But even in the lobby doesn't have coffee. You have to go across the street to another hotel to get drip coffee. Last, given it is an icon of a hotel being built a long time ago the two story building we were in had no elevator. That was a surprise. All in all the room was cute like a step back in time. Water pressure amazing. We had a great time for a great price."
