"This is such a beautiful place to stay in Maui. Everything is so closed. The OGG airport is only 25 minutes away. You have beaches super closed, restaurants, parks, food trucks, stores… we loved this place. Eva and Jim were absolutely attentive and welcoming. They made us feel as if we were at home. They are a gem! We will definitely come back to stay at this beautiful place! Thank you so much for your hospitality!"

"Nice stay, very welcoming family - they even left a simple breakfast for us in the fridge which was very sweet of them. We didn’t really stay much at the property, only came to sleep there while visiting national park. Safe neighborhood and clean environment. Haleakalā is only about 30-40 min drive from the house."

"Lovely hosts and generous breakfast fare, fresh eggs straight from their chickens. The Jacuzzi tub was a nice surprise. Quiet and serene home away from home. Highly recommended especially if headed to Hana. "

"Everything about this place was wonderful. The location was quiet and beautiful - a perfect place to relax after long days of seeing all the Maui sites. We loved the view looking out over the island. We even stayed at the BnB for an entire evening, which we never do because usually our lodgings aren't that exciting.It's also fairly close to Haleakala, for any other National Park fans like us.The hosts were also great. They were inviting and lovely to talk to, and they made sure we had everything...

"It was a wonderfully quaint cottage away from big crowds but yet close to town and a direct road to the sights. We had a wonderful stay! We would return in a heart beat!"

"Room was clean, shower was great, and location for heading down the rows to Hāna can’t be beat! We appreciated the complimentary breakfast options. We didn’t get to see the property in the daylight since we arrived and left in the dark but it was a great place to stay to get a head start on Hāna vs all the way on the west side of the island. "Steve was very good about communicating and making sure we were all set. The space was clean and very nice, but the dome and the decks are what make this place so amazing. We sat on the back deck to watch the sunset. We then had a beautiful clear night in the dome to sleep under the stars. An amazing place to stay!"

"I cannot say enough great things about this little gem. If you’re looking for a special place to celebrate anything - off the beaten path - but easy access to most of the best of Maui, look no further. Shannon and Josh have made this place truly magical. I cannot wait to return! "

"Exceeded our expectations! From the easy check-in to the incredible breakfasts, the old-school pool and hanging garden, and an unexpected herd of deer running through the property, this was one of the most relaxing and tranquil escapes we’ve experienced. The town of Makawao gave us tasty afternoon meals (Satori!) and the beautiful mountain area provided plenty of scenic driving. Only advice I’d give is to plan to enjoy the space while you’re staying, as it would be a shame to not settle in....

"We stayed 3 nights. This was the first time to stay upcountry and we were pleasantly surprised by the contrast of the slower pace from the beach areas. Greeted with a smile by Josh as we came to the entry door and he explained about check in. The house is newly renovated, welcoming and very clean all over. The suite is huge, comfortable and private. Shower has plenty of hot water and pressure. We had lovely and tasty breakfast with some items changed every day. Josh will make Latte on request....

"This is my 2nd time staying here was a great overall experience. Room was clean no bugs or little critters. Kitchen makes it easy to make your own meals to save money. Will definitely stay here again highly recommend "
