"This hotel is located right in the train station. You have to go the water side outside to get to it or as you come out but still in main station left and on your left is a lobby waiting room with nice furniture, go thru to front desk behind the double doors. This place is right above the train statopmbut we heard nothing!!! It was quiet, cleam and the staff especially front desk and bell people, are all super nice. There is construction going on but we were able to walk to some neat places....

"Hotel Convento do Salvador was excellent. Particularly the front desk staff in demeanour and presentation. Complimentary coffee and water in reception area, soaps and hand cream amenities were good quality, the variety of breakfast menu items was excellent. The rooms were clean. That they opened on to a central courtyard was lovely. "

Nice to have welcoming pastel de nata and port wine. Delighted to get a cake and candles on my wife’s birthday. Would definitely recommend and revisit. "

The food is wonderful, drinks are delicious, rooms are beautiful and comfortable, and the nightly turndown service is an extra nice touch. I can’t wait to stay here again in the future. "
