A super bonus for a rainy day is an outside games room with a football table and table tennis. The location is convenient for the coast and the north Lakes."

"Home was warm & clean on arrival with small welcome beverage gift & wood for fire. I have taken one star off cleanliness as one bedroom smelt of sick/ stale milk although we could see they had tried cleaning smell away & had left windows & de humidifiers on in that room. Beds were comfortable & plenty of seating options to accommodate our family of 8 comfortably & parking for 3 cars. The area is close to walks with our dogs & grandchildren enjoyed watching sheep in field behind house too."

"Communication poor, cottage small, no WiFi, TV package poor, lack of comforts ie : old formal couch, rained for 2days so stuck in at night, neighbours parked too close so we had to park on grass. Local amenities closed ie restaurant /Hotel 🙃"

"We had a lovely weekend at Captains cottage, bright clean & spacious. Kitchen had everything we needed, Bedrooms were roomy with lovely bedding. The weather was kind so we were able to sit out on the decking and watch the sea and the world go by. would be happy to book again"
