Very Good

We enjoyed our stay. Lots of weddings going on, as you would expect, so music tends to go on to midnight - best to have a room furthest away from the wedding reception. Good cooked breakfast with some other choices. Nice grounds and friendly staff.
A lovely hotel, well located.
High standards and great service.
Staff were polite, friendly and efficient.
Food in restaurant was very good with lots of choice.
Nice room, standard size hotel room, but beds are good. Bar and restaurant are nice. Probably good to check if there’s a wedding on, obviously this is a wedding hotspot, two on during our stay but we weren’t really affected by them.
Because we didn't book directly with the hotel, we had no say in choice of room, which turned out to be a cosy double with a bathroom you couldn't swing a cat in. However, a quiet word at reception and we were upgraded to a standard double at no extra cost. The staff at the hotel were all very courteous while the service at meal times was excellent.
The experience wasn’t brilliant due to a small room which wasn’t cleaned thoroughly. There were coffee stains on the wall, dirt on the carpet and the bare was extremely small. Guest gather outside the hotel door to smoke which was directly below or window resulting in cigarette smoke smells in the room. The breakfast room was chaotic with only one toaster and coffee machine for all guests, resulting in long queues and cold food.
There was confusion on room availability after a very late booking, the staff were very apologetic and helpful. They helped resolve the issue very quickly.
Great service, reasonably priced, staff were really friemdly and perfect location for everything, u actually changed from the hotel i originally booked very glad i did, the only weak cristism is the pillows on the bed were hard and diffult to get comfy, but very small issue compared to how great the stay was

Good solid traditional hotel with good food and service . Nothing extraordinary.
We stopped here overnight to break up our long journey. It was good value and our room was exactly as described, a cosy double. Small but recently refurbished. Perfect for an overnight stay.
staff were very friendly and welcoming. We just made it in time to eat in the restaurant. There was a good selection available on the menu and we both enjoyed our choices. All of the options were reasonably priced. Breakfast was buffet style and had a good selection.
It’s clearly a very busy hotel with many wedding guests, bus tours and folks like us
I would definitely use this place again
Friendly staff and all reasonably modern. Room was comfortable but small with frosted glass windows.
Booked based on presence of EV chargers but they wouldn’t work, leading to inconvenience. Breakfast could have done with being a little earlier.
