Find Historic Hotels in Margaret River Wine Region

"Arrive and nobody was there, waited for couple of minutes finally see a bossy slow old man in reception, and had no idea how to find a reservation by names. Room is in bad conditiin, many things older than my age and was not powered on for a long time, such as fridge heater and TV, need to learn how to make them working by switching buttons on the wall and inside the fridge... No hot water!!! Went to see the old man and was asked to wait for 5 mins, then nothing happened so I had to ask again...

"Initially I found the room whilst full of atmosphere, it was noisy until the restaurant next door close. Once it closed, quiet prevailed and there weren’t any further problems so good sleep was the best. The room was lovely and the bath just so good. I would stay again. "

"Extremely clean and nicely renovated for an older property. Grounds very well maintained. Best breakfast of any hotel we have been to. Pity no restaurant and bar. Couldnt fault it otherwise. "

"The rooms were beautiful, light, cool, comfortable and the heritage character well-maintained. I stayed 3 nights mid-week, however on the last night (a Wednesday) where the pub, lounge and restaurant were all full, I could hear a group of men walking the hall loudly, mucking up and someone tried to open my door. I wasn’t impressed with this and at this point noticed there was no phone to contact reception nor were any hotel staff on the reception desk by the stairs to the rooms. Nothing more...
