"The Coast Beachfront Hotel was a spectacular place to enjoy Tamarindo, CR. From start to finish, everything was well accommodated and communicated. The hotel team were very responsive, and my accommodations for room choice were respected. We stayed in Rm#115 which personally I think was the best room in the resort! Perfect unobstructed view of the pool & the ocean, surrounded by the beautiful flora & animals. We had our own private patio w/ table & chairs, & although they weren’t technically reserved for us there were 2 poolside loungers right in front of our patio so unofficially we claimed them as our own. Our room was large & the layout was great, w/ the kitchen by the front door & a little window, spacious bathroom, & comfy king sized bed. The cleanliness in our room & around the resort grounds were immaculate. The staff worked hard all day to ensure perfection! The resort is not too large so it never felt overwhelming & quite exclusive, this meant the pool & other amenities (surfboard rentals, free boogie board, beachfront loungers) were never crowded or unavailable. The complimentary breakfast included was fresh & you could always ask for more. The kitchen was perfect we were able to make a number of delicious meals! The resort had a communal ice machine & water filter which was so useful. Being oceanfront meant I could surf for hours everyday with the reasonably priced surfboard rentals from the hotel. I felt safe & secure all the time. We would definitely return! TYSM"

"Loved this place. Stayed here for half of our trip and went to a more expensive hotel for the second half. We all preferred this one for the vibe, the location and the staff. I would stay here again if in Tamarindo"

"The property was fantastic. Quiet and relaxing with an awesome pool. Check in wss very easy and staff was very friendly. Location is very convenient as it is next to a supermarker and walking distance to the beach. Rooms were clean and well maintained. We even got some monkeys around the area which added to the ambience."

"This property is right on the ocean and right in the middle of the strip - everything walkable. The room is basic & small but it was only a one night stop for us. If staying longer, I would look into the rooms with patio door walkout. Clean, Bathroom w/ a shower with great water pressure, TV, small fridge and toiletries. Free Parking & free breakfast was just a 5 minute walk away across the street at larger hotel owned by same owner. Breakfast was delicious & great coffee/juices - buffet but guy there to make eggs/omelets/crepes. Excellent price (for Tamarindo) for being right on the beach and free breakfast!"

"We stayed for seven days at this lovely hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful in booking transport to and from airport and our sunset cruise. We had a king bed that was comfortable. The hotel is right in the center of the action and across the street from the beach. The pool area was very cute, and the water was refreshing from the sun. It can get very noisy at night but a couple of more of margaritas helped to drown out the noise. Overall would recommend staying here."

"A beautiful oasis close to all the action of Tam. Staff were excellent and accommodating. Rooms were extra clean, patio with hammock was heaven. Pool area was quiet but allowed for chats with other guests. Would definitely recommend and will stay again."
