Location is ideal for summer fun, especially for families. You cant get any closer to the playground and the beach is easy walking distance. Cafes and restaurants right next door. Whakatane 5mins over the hill. Highly recommend."

Instead we had a thin mattress that showed and felt every spring. It was not a comfortable night sleep. For that alone we will not stay again. "

"This bach has everything you need - all the mod cons- and a stunning view to boot. The host is really responsive to emails and gave us a run down of all the best places to eat. Everything is clean and tidy, and in good condition. Beds are comfy and the shower has great water pressure. There's lots for kids to do and it's pet friendly. If the host will have us, we definitely will be going back :)"
