"Beautiful cabin and location! The fall colors around the lake made it the perfect fall spot. Less than an hour drive to Acadia and short trip to Bangor for restaurants, but still has that secluded cabin feeling. At the cabin we took advantage of the kayaks, fishing poles, hammock, firepit, and appreciated the welcome goodies. The lake is amazing with crystal clear water. We also hiked up Mt. "Great property! Loved having two dwellings because our dogs can be unruly around other humans. We stayed in the apartment while my brothers family and our mom stayed in the main house. The house was great. There is no tub, which was hard with a 2-year-old. The apartment was ok. A fruit fly infestation in the apartment made drinking red wine impossible, unless you like a little protein in your drink. The owner, Josh, was amazing! Very helpful and friendly. "Everything about this property is above and beyond expectations. Location is just 5 mins from the Bangor Rd. There are 2 houses to rent if you like. We rented the larger house with all of the comforts of home. Very spacious outside space & parking, three bedrooms with plenty of bedding, lots of comfortable seating, incredibly equipped kitchen, great deck and water front, kayaks ++, loons too. Close to Bangor & Bar Harbor for day trips. Scott was great to communicate with. Very special "

"The house is very nice. It’s very clean. The only issue I had was it is a little musty and it affected my allergies a bit but it wasn’t unbearable. I would stay again. It was fall so we didn’t get to use the kayaks on that were there but I would love to go back sometime. "

"This is a new place. It’s clean and in great shape. It’s right on the river. There is a really nice covered patio to sit and enjoy it. It would be even better if some of the trees were either cut or trimmed so you could see the river. The only real negative is the road noise. The bedrooms all face the road and you can definitely hear the cars throughout the night and especially in the morning."
