"Beautiful cabin and location! The fall colors around the lake made it the perfect fall spot. Less than an hour drive to Acadia and short trip to Bangor for restaurants, but still has that secluded cabin feeling. At the cabin we took advantage of the kayaks, fishing poles, hammock, firepit, and appreciated the welcome goodies. The lake is amazing with crystal clear water. We also hiked up Mt. "This was a perfect, toasty warm, place for family to stay over the Christmas holiday. The open floor plan on the first floor is wonderful for communicating. The one year old enjoyed walking around this area. We enjoyed the big dinning table for meals, board games, and wrapping gifts. The beds were very comfortable. Two of the bedrooms have a water view in winter! The property managers are exceptionally attentive. They went above and beyond coming first thing in the morning to shovel snow!"

"Everything about this property is above and beyond expectations. Location is just 5 mins from the Bangor Rd. There are 2 houses to rent if you like. We rented the larger house with all of the comforts of home. Very spacious outside space & parking, three bedrooms with plenty of bedding, lots of comfortable seating, incredibly equipped kitchen, great deck and water front, kayaks ++, loons too. Close to Bangor & Bar Harbor for day trips. Scott was great to communicate with. Very special "

"Peregrine House is situated on a quiet road in a peaceful location with a lovely view of the bay and gorgeous sunsets. There is easy access to the town of Castine and the house is a short walk to the beach where we enjoyed swimming. The house was well-equipped. The beds and living area were comfortable. Mary Lou was responsive to our questions and needs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"Conveniently located near MMA. Nicely equipped, clean house. So appreciate that the house is pet friendly. Sometimes worry that pet friendly places will smell like dog ( pet friendly hotel rooms are the worst). Not this house. Very well maintained. Yard and rocky beach are beautiful. Very easy check-in. Loved the back deck, stargazing at night was beautiful. Lots of wildlife; saw deer every evening and an eagle. Thank you for a great family stay. "
