"We loved the house. We stayed here once before in 2021. The whole process was smooth, communication was wonderful, house was spotless and comfortable, hosts are easygoing and very reasonable with no fussy rules. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much!"

"This was a great little place! 4 bedrooms, a fire pit, lots of dishes available. The general location is pretty central, with easy access to highways and the mall. The street is not the easiest to access, unfortunately. The floors were pretty squeaky, and the front downstairs mattress was not the most comfortable. "Beautiful cabin and location! The fall colors around the lake made it the perfect fall spot. Less than an hour drive to Acadia and short trip to Bangor for restaurants, but still has that secluded cabin feeling. At the cabin we took advantage of the kayaks, fishing poles, hammock, firepit, and appreciated the welcome goodies. The lake is amazing with crystal clear water. We also hiked up Mt. "This was a perfect, toasty warm, place for family to stay over the Christmas holiday. The open floor plan on the first floor is wonderful for communicating. The one year old enjoyed walking around this area. We enjoyed the big dinning table for meals, board games, and wrapping gifts. The beds were very comfortable. Two of the bedrooms have a water view in winter! The property managers are exceptionally attentive. They went above and beyond coming first thing in the morning to shovel snow!"

"Peregrine House is situated on a quiet road in a peaceful location with a lovely view of the bay and gorgeous sunsets. There is easy access to the town of Castine and the house is a short walk to the beach where we enjoyed swimming. The house was well-equipped. The beds and living area were comfortable. Mary Lou was responsive to our questions and needs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."
