"I stayed at this hotel, different ownership, several years ago and it was definitely run down. As a Travelodge it has made significant improvements but still has some work to do. Tha main area had new flooring, furniture, and bedding. The bed was quite comfortable, and the HVAC unit worked well. Clean, a slight cleaning product odor, and overall nice. "Lumberton,NC touted as halfway between Florida and NY. Hotel was great, but the area around the hotel is just a shopping center. Most of the food offerings were chains and fast food,m. We did find a wing place that was local and very good. Breakfast, the cleanliness, the friendly staff at the hotel were all wonderful! Love the hotel, but the location and area offerings just weren't our cup of tea."
