"What an amazing place. Unassuming from the outside, apart from being the oldest building in Ulverston. It is wonderful and cosy, inside with modern sympathetic decoration. "Great stay for 2 nights. Check in was easy. Though the room for 3 persons was a little tight, it was cosy with adequate walking space. Just be mindful that opening of big luggage could be a challenge in the limited area. Breakfast options were great and hosts were most friendly. Certainly a recommended accommodation in Windermere. Within walking distance to restaurants, shops and shopping. Love it!"

"I had an excellent stay at Ellerbrook House. It’s conveniently located a block away from the Windermere High Street. I was able to walk into town every night with a great choice of local cafes, restaurants and pubs. My room was fantastic. To my surprise I had what looks like a new but very large bed. My room was completely renovated. New bathroom fittings good water pressure. I was on the top floor and found it very quiet at night and it was well heated. My room was made up every day...

"Lovely hotel near the centre of Keswick and not too far from the lake. We booked a lake view, the room was comfortable and warm. The room comes with a good breakfast to start your day. Parking is a bonus, we had to pay for this as we had not booked direct with the hotel. You can park for free out the front of the hotel if you are lucky to get a space. Staff are polite and friendly. Great weekend, thank you. "

"From the moment I arrived I was made to feel at home. Fresh biscuits and cake greeted me, and the room was made up every day. Breakfast was really tasty, particularly nice sausage - and an abundance of fresh juice and fresh bread. It felt like home from home, and by the end of the third night I felt I'd made a new friend. And the views of Skiddaw are amazing."

"We absolutely loved our time at Windermere Suites and Windermere. Vicky and Alex were very welcoming and helpful. We loved their advice on places to see, their helpfulness and good conversation. The breakfast was delicious and very generous with a wide variety to choose from. The room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The bathroom was amazing with a massive spa bath, mood lighting and tv. Our stay here has certainly been a highlight of our European trip!"

"Nice caravan, situated close to all amenities, if you have stayed in a Haven Park before this caravan would be classed as a Bronze accommodation, to give you the comparison if you were to book your stay with Haven direct. Weather was great, park very busy with the weekend campers (tents) this area was packed, kids play park was a free for all, I would say too small for the amount of families staying onsite, wonder what the middle of summer holidays would be like when all caravans and camping...
