"The property is just as the pictures indicate. A quiet and relaxing place to stay. The one concern I would raise is parking. While the area where the house is located is very quiet the other part of the village is filled with tourists all day long. While we were there the moment we left our parking space it was taken immediately. We made sure we didn’t return to the village till late afternoon when we could again find a parking spot."

"This property is in a rural area a short distance away from Icod. We loved our restful stay here. The rooms were a good size and it was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. Pedro and his wife met us at the property on the day of arrival and although our canarian is pretty poor, with the help of google translate all was good. "The Finca Delicias are a small group of converted farm buildings located in a banana plantation near the beach and rock swimming pools of Alcala. The house was well presented, creatively furnished, and well equipped with generous amounts of space indoors and out. Incredible views of the ocean with the sun setting behind La Gomera each evening. The overall sense of tranquility and privacy was a welcome change from Costa Adeje."

"La comunicación con José fue muy buena desde el principio. Él fue muy antento a nuestra llegada y siempre contestando nuestras inquietudes. La habitación muy limpia y el baño también. La locación es perfecta para descansar y sentir la tranquilidad de la isla. El único punto, en la página de FeWo dice que la propiedad cuenta con Shampoo y jabón, pero no es así. Tampoco hay un Jacuzzi, como está escrito en FeWo. Pd: Para llegar a la propiedad, hay que subir calles muy empinadas."

"The property was perfect in every way. Unfortunately the satnav couldn't find the house. We phoned the owner who didn't speak English and I don't speak Spanish. We found a taxi rank and asked them to take us and we would follow and pay them. He couldn't find it either, so he spoke to the owner who came and met us and we followed him. He was very helpful - considering it was now midnight!! Other than this everything else was great. A very steep climb down to the town."

"Host is very helpful and supportive. The cottage has a great interior design with an antique touch and interesting wallphotos showing the area. Exterior is super. With a barbeque area with a n outdoor kitchenette .The area itself is close to the town and the three city of Porto de la Cruz is close. Only problem was that our GPS always showed the worst way to get to the south side.. .We enjoyed our stay."

The property was shown to be in the center of Buenavista del Norte in the map, whereas in reality it is in Masca. a 45 minute drive away, This is very misleading and unacceptable"

"Die Beschreibung und die Bilder stimmen leider nicht mit der Realität überein. Beide Häuser haben unangenehm muffig und alt gerochen und es war nicht besonders sauber. Vor Benutzung haben wir das gesamte Geschirr und Besteck gespült. Die Kaffeemaschine im Haus 1 war defekt und der Satz "die Häuser seien mit allen Komfort ausgestattet" ist absolut falsch. Von Komfort fehlt wirklich jede Spur. Nur zusammengewürfeltes billiges Besteck und Geschirr, keine Spülmaschine, alte Handtücher.... sorry,...

"A wonderfully characterful place to stay , charmingly decorated with stunning views over to La Gomera. It's on a peaceful banana plantation and a short walk to the sea where there are tidal pools and beaches for swimming. The nearby (unspoilt) town of Alcalá is a pleasant 15 minute walk along the coast. A perfect place to unwind. The hosts provide you with free bananas, papaya and even shared organic vegetables from their garden."

"The apartment was very well equipped. There was only 1 air con unit in the apartment which was in the bedroom-that was the only down side I can think of. Beds were comfortable and the balcony was huge. The area was very quiet at night. We always got a good spot by the pool late morning/early afternoon. The staff were all great and very helpful. Pool was a good temperature and inflatables were allowed at certain times. I would stay here again. "

"Upon arrival we were quite concerned about the outside roadworks however our concerns were unfounded due to the welcome we received by the Reception Team and the beautiful apartment that greeted us. Spacious, clean, comfortable beds and with a most amazing balcony and views. I’m sure next time we visit, the outside updating of roadworks will be complete and it will be better still. Great holiday and great value and great apartments/views. "
