"interesting, period stay. nice car park close by though £1.20 per hour after 8am, can pay before hand so no early morning rush. Complicated entry system for late arrivals after 7pm. My garden room was lovely with plenty of interest. hot water for basin controlled by button I never found. Nice breakfast with plenty of choice. Easy to exit Shrewsbury from. frienly and helpful staff. "

"Met up with a friend at this delightful guest house. Louise is an excellent host and was very informative about the area and where to visit. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful and set us up for the day. Room was clean and well presented and Louise thoughtfully gave us an extra heater as it was a chilly day. "Lovely b&b. Fantastic 3 course meal. Highly recommended. Kate is a super host. But the two dogs beg at the breakfast/dinner table. They need to be kept in a separate room while guests are eating. Breakfast was disappointing. Cooked breakfast consisted of 2 streaky bacon,burnt sausage and a fried egg with yolk overcooked. Make sure you ask how you want your eggs cooked. First morning we asked for scrambled egg which were perfect! Also the bedroom door needs a proper key lock on it. Everything...

Wonderful couple nothing to much trouble stayed a extra night because it was such a chilled out place to be will definitely be coming back.David cooked us a meal on both nights the curry he made us was amazing thank you to you both for your hospitality. "As a single traveller it's lovely to have a true single room that doesn't feel as if it's been squashed into the last piece of space available. Everything you might need has been thought of. Forgot your corkscrew? There's one there. A bit chilly? (doubtful because the house is lovely and warm). A hot water bottle is in your drawer.
