"My husband and I opted for a short holiday in Wales and chose to go to Conwy. We chose the Erskine Arms based off reviews and it was even better than we expected. We had a large bedroom with a full bath. Plenty of electrical outlets, a kettle with an array of coffee and tea and plenty of extra blankets. "The hotel is located about a 5 minute drive from Conwy. It sits in the middle of the countryside which is green and pretty- looking out the windows you see rolling green countryside. The rooms are large and nicely decorated, the bed huge (possibly 2 kings pushed together). The bathroom had a walk in shower and was modern. "A friendly welcome from the host. He went out of his way to book us an alternative evening meal and taxi as the restaurant was booked up that day. Room was as expected. Breakfast was good and a good choice available all with friendly service. "

"DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE IT IS CLOSED. After a 20 mile day on a walking trip we turned up to find the place closed. On contacting hotels.com they spent 45 minutes trying to find us alternative accomodation and having failed they hung up and never called us back. Left stranded and getting dark we could only find a place 40 miles away available and had to sort transport to and from ourselves which left us £200 out of pocket let alone a massive inconvenience. Hotels.com have still not called us...

"If you are looking for posh.if you are looking for boutique hotel . this is not the place for you. the property is old Victorian i think.but it is spotlessly clean.the room had tea and coffee making facilities the tv was small the bathroom was dated. but the staff are great .service was excellent and friendly .the breakfast was excellent the evening meal was really good home cooking though the menu was a little dated.it reminded me of school dinner's my school had a great cook. i really enjoyed the over night stay so did our dog ."
