Easy access to the city and we also went for a run to the Clifton Downs - all great. We had a great stay and will be back - great value for money."

"A nice stay when in the area. The food is good, as are the team. I did hear some locals moaning about both, however that isn't my experience at all. The rooms are good, I had a different room this time and it's probably due for some tlc, however it was serviceable and the bed was comfy etc. The Bowl has a nice feel in a lovely location - it was a stunning evening to sit outside and dine whilst reading a book - with the bell ringing practise starting in the evening. "The room was absolutely fine for one night's solo travel as I went to a friend's party. I didn't want to spend a fortune and the room was a good price in the right location. I hadn't expected tea and coffee making facilities, nor a hairdryer but was pleasantly surprised with both. The bed was comfy and clean. It's over a pub with a late license so there was a bit of noise but not enough to cause an issue. The bathroom was compact and apart from the mouldy seals in the shower it was clean. It did...

"Absolutely amazing stay at the Bell. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with kindness and professionalism. The room was cosy, but completely adequate overlooking the green. "Genuine old Pub/restuarant , able to select 2 items from starter menu plus salad and baked potatoe . All very good .Same for breakfast had a small portion and did not eat to much. Good flexibility. "

"It was great to be in an old pub in the centre of Bath where the bed and bathroom were very clean and luxurious, and yet the pub still had that local vibe. Loved the rhubarb gin as well as the great pints of bitter. Would definitely stay at the pub again when we next visit Bath. "
