"The place was immaculately clean, cozy, warm with great surrounding. We were greeted by a lovely home baked cake which was delicious! The house was fully eqiped with everything you'd need from eggs, to milk, butter, cooking oil etc etc. The place was nice and quite, perfect sized rooms with enough baths amd amazing views from the bedrooms. "We stayed for a few days between christmas and new year and it was a lovely location, lots of lovely local villages and hikes, with a nice log fire to come home to. Hosts were very kind, helpful and gave lots of info on local area. "

"Its our three time to the area love forest of dean , first time as 24 st john , hopefully not our last , lovely house , everything you need for a break , its like home for home , loved the hot tub, host was very helpful and freind , birthday card for my mum was a lovely surprise "

"We had a sunny week in this lovely quiet place, visiting villages and towns in the area. We loved the numerous walks in the area too, and found the local map and local walks books very useful. We had delicious meals at nearby pubs as well as using the barbeque at the property. The property was very comfortable and well equipped. We were sad to leave when our week was up."
