"It was our third visit to the Jolly Drover and we have always returned because the beds and bedding are so comfy and the accommodation is simple but well maintained. We have stayed in different rooms and this time were in room 6. Everything was fine until we got into bed. The mattress was so awful that you could feel the slats on the bed. I nearly fell out on one occasion. It was a horrible night and very sad because we were exhausted after a long drive from Wales and settling a family member...
