"Great stay, all staff were very friendly. This place is super dog friendly (I actually think nearly everyone in the building had a dog) During our evening meal one item on the menu was not quite right and they quickly sorted it out for us. The food was delicious too, including breakfast. The room was spotless and a lovely view across the valley."

"Overall good, mattress could do with replacing as it squeaked whenever you moved and window frames were mouldy and shower leaked but I would stay again. Carvery was good and parking convenient. Staff great. "

"The property was in the most beautiful setting. It was a detached building housing 2 downstairs bedrooms. It was spotless and the staff were so lovely. It was warm and very welcoming. We included the breakfast and it was delicious "

"The bed and breakfast accommodation was very nice, clean tidy and well presented. Had a meal in the main pub which was also very nice. Breakfast (cooked English) was served which again was freshly prepared and a choice of cereals was also available."

"the room was not warm enough and although mentioned to the staff, it was some time before the heating was sufficient. The tea maker was in a cupboard on the floor. This is the first time I have encountered this in a hotel, This was not easy to make the first cup of tea in the morning. Having mentioned these two points, the staff we met were very helpful and pleasant. "Great two bedroom cottage quality fittings, well equipped, and in a fantastic location close to all of the pubs, restaurants, and shops. We used it as a base to do two long walks and then in the evening just walk out and back to the entertainment on offer. "

"Superb accomodation, very clean and well organised, the location was perfect, near to Harrogate, Skipton, Ripon and also not far away from York. It was very quiet and the total opposite of the city life we both endure. Highly recommend the accomodation, it had everything you need, a bedroom for 2 people, lovely bathroom, living/dining room and kitchen, the views were stunning too. "Only fault we had during our stay was the heating on all the time. It was 2° outside but had trouble sleeping as was so warm. Apart from that the service & room was perfect for our stay. Will definitely stay again."

The Harrogate Inn - The Inn Collection Group

"Second time staying at this hotel for the city’s annual art and comic festival. The Hotel is across the road from the event, making it ideal for the weekends happenings. Rooms are clean and well kept. We found it had everything we needed for our short stay. Plenty of hot water and amenities. Breakfast was excellent, well stocked and well organised. The staff were always polite and helpful. We will be returning for sure. Only issues are that a bar/club venue next door can play music into the late hours. Making early nights difficult. Not sure what can be done about that. If you’re on the other side of the building it doesn’t seem to be an issue. Also the reception is actually one side of the main bar, this can be difficult on busy Saturday nights when it’s busy."

Another wonderful stay

"A really comfortable overnight. The night reception offered us a lovely room and was very friendly. Reception staff the following morning were also friendly. Breakfast was excellent and a nice view of the gardens with a background of relaxing music. Well definitely come again"

Birthday party stay over

"Hotel was ideal for a one night stay has will was going to a birthday party, The rooms was comfortable and clean, probably in need of some TLC . I bit weary in places, but again it was not expensive. Breakfast was ok, not much choice but again, breakfast was in with the price and we wasn’t expecting to get breakfast. So can not complain Car parking was excellent. It was a dog friendly hotel, which is great for dog lovers, "
