We left the room at 11pm to go home as the bed was rock hard and we couldn't turn the heating off and the room was boiling hot, we tried to phone reception but the phone didn't work The steam room was out of order and the outside jacuzzi was freezing, really disappointed with our stay

The good bits: lovely wooded site; whole place was like a giant log cabin!; friendly, welcoming and helpful staff; cosy room with everything needed for an overnight stay. The not so good bits: dated bathroom; weird uneven floor in room; tired bed; noisy at certain times as close to exit door to the leisure and spa facilities - constant banging. I didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t comment on food or restaurant service.

Chevin Chalet retreat
Great location as was staying close by for Yorkshire show. Lovely chalet room . Lovely spa. Staff on reception and at spa excellent. Only negative was being woken up by sue alarm going off at 3.54 am 😣 and didn’t get back to sleep!!
