"The rooms were clean, tidy and well appointed. We were on the ground floor in a room close to the highway, which I was initially worried about, but there was surprisingly little road-noise to be heard. We were too late booking a table in the restaurant but their full menu is available through room service which was excellent. Reception staff were incredibly welcoming and an asset to the hotel. "

"Very good restaurant with excellent service staff, excellent meal too. Very nice property with pool. Rooms are dated though and in need of new paint. Staff at front desk were very nice and helpful. It was nice you could rent bikes from the hotel to travel around town. Overall good value for the money. "

"Lovely old world accommodation. Bathroom modern in old style. Loved the big bath. No onsite reception so you need to remember to phone half an hour before arrival. We didn't have access to the email on the day to remind ourselves but they were still able to get someone to come quite quickly and he was really lovely about us not giving 1/2 hr notice. he also helped us up the stairs with our luggage, so that was nice. Plenty of power points available for an old house (powerboards). Kitchen...
