"Needed somewhere to stay that was affordable for an urgent quick trip. I stayed here & was worried being 7 months pregnant that the beds would be uncomfortable given the price. I had a great sleep, the bed, pillows & blankets were nice. Room had aircon & blockout blinds & blockout curtains. Mini fridge was the best one I’ve used & actually kept my water bottles really cold which was nice. Not many hotels/motels ever have a good working fridge."

"Loved location, easy walk to lovely beach and short walk to town centre for groceries, cafes and restaurants. Deluxe cabin - Beds more comfy than I expected. More room in bedrooms and lounge than expected. Kitchen small and only 2 ring hob although second plug in hob in cupboard. Oven tiny, one rung and not sure how useful. Took ages to grill garlic bread. Bathroom tiny but functional. See view is over top of pitches for cars pulling their own trailer vans so dependent on what’s in front of you....

"Given the lack of other accommodation available in Port Elliot, the rate is rather high for a Youth Hostel. Room was a bit stuffy and had to keep the window open and the fan going to get rid of the musty smell. Very small ensuite and shower."
