"Lovely old world accommodation. Bathroom modern in old style. Loved the big bath. No onsite reception so you need to remember to phone half an hour before arrival. We didn't have access to the email on the day to remind ourselves but they were still able to get someone to come quite quickly and he was really lovely about us not giving 1/2 hr notice. he also helped us up the stairs with our luggage, so that was nice. "A wonderful place to stay. We came in early 2020 and haven't managed to return until late 2024. Little has changed: no wear and tear, but the same stunning view and a magnificently appointed bedroom and bathroom. Perfect for exploring the Southern Vales, or for a short get-away from Adelaide. "

"The location of the house was great. A 5 minute walk to the beach. Drive on beach 10 minutes drive. Nice cafe down the road. The kitchen could have been better stocked, a big pot for pasta, a larger pan. A bit more cutlery.Also the house could have been cleaner. Overall great stay and lovely house for a small family. "

"The caravan park is within a 10-15 minute walk into the heart of Victor Harbour. Lunch at The Anchorage was divine- the best roast with vegetables ever. Enjoyed live music there as well as at the Crown Hotel. The cabin itself was clean (except maybe could have had a more thorough vacuum) and very comfortable.
