"Warm welcome with numerous offers of tea and biscuits. Lovely comfortable room with everything we needed, plus an array of books and magazines. Our breakfast was probably one of the best we've had at a b&b - choice, quality and presentation was excellent. We also had the best view onto the garden, watching wild birds feed, and farm animals stretching their legs and voices! The host gave us fabulous recommendations for our evening meal which did not disappoint."

"Pub which has been converted into an Indian Restaurant. Very attentive and friendly service. Nice modern room opposite the steam railway. Easy access to town centre with shopping bars cafes restaurants etc. Good breakfast included. Parking available opposite (£4 for 24 hrs). Only negative comment was pounding music from below however to be fair this ended at 10.30 so did not interfere with sleeping."

"I booked the stay at White Cottage for my wife, Anne, as she was visiting from Australia and needed a location close to her family in Wombourne. She was delighted with the friendliness of Jackie & Rob who made her feel completely "at home". The room had everything that she needed and the breakfasts were superb. The added extras were very much appreciated too. Hopefully, we can both stay there next year when we are back in the UK. Anne highly recommends White Cottage for a stay in the Midlands."

"Really happy with the welcome from the reception, The ambiance of the hotel was excellent. Parking was easy too. We got a drink at the bar but all the tables were set up with cutlery and menus. The seating was set up for dining only, I would have preferred a comfy armchair, or a ‘snug’ to rest in after a busy day. We had no choice but to go back to our room. There was a room with 4 chairs.
