"The front desk staff was great. My original reservation was for one night but I actually needed two nights. Expedia was unable to extend my reservation; the front desk staff was able to secure a second night and allow us to stay in the same room without hesitation or difficulty. The room was clean and comfortable. We would stay here again if ever in the area. "

"This is such a charming hotel. Breakfast being included is delightful. Our room was so lovely. Only negative is that our tv never worked. Someone came up to help us with it, it worked for a minute and then stopped."

"I was pleasantly surprised with the motel. The exterior and interior was clean and well taken care of, though the grass needed a mowing. The motel was on a hillside so the place had benches outside to sit on and observe the hills and other nice scenery.There was a nice playground for the kids and very dog-friendly.It was quiet and best of all the rooms on the first floor had sliding glass doors where you could step right out and get some fresh air. The only addition I would add could be that there be a chair outside on the patio!"

"What a beautiful property! We had the most wonderful time! There are stairs to the living area both inside and out. The screened in balcony is so comfy! I loved reading a book in a cushioned rocker during an afternoon rain. Deer grazed in the yard all day, practically. I did scare them when i went out the exterior door and down the stairs, so they're wild and that was a treat!The hot tub is fabulous! I had to set a timer on my phone to ensure we didnt stay in too long because it was so nice! The kitchen had everything we needed! They had the best selection of teas and cocoas and the coffee was delicious.The mattresses are medium to firm. The shower head in the master bathroom was life changing! The master bath also has a skylight that we loved! The host was responsive and super helpful. We look forward to coming back! 5 Stars!"

"Loved that they checked in with us by text because our sink wasn't draining right and they fixed it immediately. We didn't necessarily need it but room service never came. "

"It is a perfect hotel for the price. One that allows animals and smoking, even though my smoking room didn’t smell like smoke when I got there. It’s clean and just right. Good air, good beds, good extras that I needed. The owner is very nice. I messed up and booked two rooms, at different times. The owner fixed it no problem. Even helped me check in at midnight when I arrived, and in a very good mood too. The hotel area is very clean and quiet and it felt safe. The hotel is very well lit up. A woman traveling alone, arriving after dark, I felt completely safe. There’s so many things that could have gone wrong but it’s like they cover every concern or need. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again if I’m anywhere near it again. "
