"Perfect for place for us and priced reasonably. Owner was responsive and helpful, keyless check in made it easy, location was convenient, house was charming and pool table was an excellent addition. We live in a different state but have a daughter that has relocated to the area and we will try to use this home for all our future visits and stays in the area."

"Very fun getaway property. Well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, coffee makers and well heated/insulated in the wintry weather. Property is lovely for walks and must be amazing in all seasons. Close enough to Lexington for errands, far enough away to be secluded and quiet. Pool Table was a big hit!"

"Clean, well stocked kitchen. Beds are queens and probably need new mattresses. Bedside tables are tiny. There is one bathroom upstairs with a small shower and one half bathroom downstairs. The A/C works well despite the high 90s each day. The large kitchen/dining area and TV area were perfect for our couples get together."

"Great place close to downtown Roanoke and quick access to everything the star city has to offer! Very nice and clean place including the linens! Some places we have stayed have skimped there but now here! The parking can be a little tricky if you have a larger vehicle like we do but we made it work. My only suggestion would be to add a full length mirror in the bedroom for getting ready and a shelf of some sort over the toilet to set toiletries on as the bathroom sink is a pedestal...

"My two girlfriends and I wanted to do the Triple Crown as separate day hikes. This was the perfect place to stay--only 15-20 min from the trailheads. Roanoke had plenty to offer for after our hikes and Emily's house was very comfortable to stay and cook dinners at night. We would definitely stay here again for future hiking trips."

"This home is perfect for a larger group staying in Lexington. The home was very clean, well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. I would love to visit in the warmer months to take advantage of the porch and garden area. Being within walking distance of everything in town was so convenient. "My family and I had a wonderful stay! We loved the sunrise out our window that filled the kitchen with so much Joy! The kids loved the huge playground across the quiet cul de sac street. Hubby and I enjoyed the walking trails right next to the home. I would highly recommend this Beautiful home to anyone traveling. Amazing and kind host! If I could give more than 5 Stars I would!!!!!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Since our stay fell during the winter and the lake was frozen, I can't speak for the use of the outdoor spaces. However, there was plenty to do inside! The property has a game room which we took full advantage of. The home is well-equipped and very spacious. Loved the layout too. Very clean and a fairly quiet setting. We would definitely stay here again."

"We spent Thanksgiving here and it was the perfect fit for a quick getaway from the hustle of Northern Virginia. The listing is as described. The kitchen was outfitted for all of our cooking needs, including sharp knives! The place was completely renovated so everything was clean and felt very comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and we enjoyed some local hiking. The owner was great at communicating, answering any questions, and informing of us local restaurants and things to do. Would for sure...
