"We felt like we were at home, only better. The porch swing was a big hit with the entire family - perfect for enjoying a gorgeous view. Very well stocked kitchen. This was a great place for us for parents weekend at VMI. We enjoyed exploring Buchanan and the James River. We’ll definitely be back! "

"Clean, well stocked kitchen. Beds are queens and probably need new mattresses. Bedside tables are tiny. There is one bathroom upstairs with a small shower and one half bathroom downstairs. The A/C works well despite the high 90s each day. The large kitchen/dining area and TV area were perfect for our couples get together."

"What a beautiful place to stay! The hosts were incredible and loved that every evening they had the fire-pit ready to go with logs available for our evening night cap under the stars. Waking up in the morning to a beautiful view of the mountains from the shower was spectacular. The suite was clean, welcoming and well maintained inside and out. "Six adults and a toddler enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately, the power was out half of our stay because of the hurricane but the house was still comfortable with many windows we could open and plenty of outdoor space to enjoy during the day. We thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit, grill and outdoor picnic area. We'd stay again if we are ever in the area! "

"Enjoyed warm springs area . Nice restaurants and locations nearby . We enjoyed the winery and Homestead in Hot Springs . Loved seeing the Falling Springs Falls . The home has a lovely stream behind the house that was enjoyable with the small waterfall . The sound from the waterfall was very relaxing . We also enjoyed a bonfire and smores"

"Michael was an amazing host, from letting us know before arrival that they had left the windows cracked for us to make sure the house was comfortable in the fall temps for this time of year to the little touches around the house that were thoughtful of situations that may arrive. I definitely recommend The Fire Fly Inn to anyone traveling to the Bueno Vista Area. We will certainly be back if our son decides to attend SVU."

"We had a great stay at Church Hill!! Our group of “barn friends” was in town for a show at the Virginia Horse Center. Church Hill was a perfect fit — spacious, good variety of bed arrangements and bathrooms to accommodate everyone. The house and grounds are beautiful, super convenient to the horse center, and everything was exactly as described and pictured. The kitchen was well equipped to cook and dine. Melinda and Mike were lovely to interact with and very responsive. We will be back!"
