"We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to return. The house was tucked away about 3 miles from Crabtree Falls. We enjoyed morning walks, lots of stars, an awesome hot tub and a clean and well-equipped house. The hosts were attentive and responded promptly to questions."

"Another mom and I spent two nights in the Alone Mill Schoolhouse while our sons enjoyed a weekend tour of VMI. The house was close to campus and offered all the conveniences we needed. The setting was beautiful! I wish we would have had more time to enjoy our surroundings! Maybe we will stay here again if our boys become cadets!"

"Clean, well stocked kitchen. Beds are queens and probably need new mattresses. Bedside tables are tiny. There is one bathroom upstairs with a small shower and one half bathroom downstairs. The A/C works well despite the high 90s each day. The large kitchen/dining area and TV area were perfect for our couples get together."

"Six adults and a toddler enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately, the power was out half of our stay because of the hurricane but the house was still comfortable with many windows we could open and plenty of outdoor space to enjoy during the day. We thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit, grill and outdoor picnic area. We'd stay again if we are ever in the area! "

"We absolutely loved this wonderful mountain home! Inside and out were so impressed with everything it has to offer. This home was very private on its own 20 acre property on the side of a mountain within a beautiful national forest providing the best views from almost anywhere on the property (but especially from the living room/deck). "Better than advertised. Would recommend for for a group of 8 or less. Kitchen is. It equipped for cooking meals but Clifton Forge is only 25 mins away. Camp Director Chasity was very helpful before and during our stay. "
