"The little creekside cabin was perfect for a weekend family getaway. It's cozy and had everything we needed. The host is fantastic! The only slight drawback was the proximity to the Beech Mountain Parkway (it backs up to the Parkway), but there was very little traffic and there is a steep incline to help keep kids away from the road. Overall, a wonderful place and I would highly recommend it. "

"Overall our stay was amazing. The house was adorable and everything was updated. The only downside was getting up to the steps from the driveway. The steps to the house were all new but the rock steps were hard to maneuver with a bad foot. Beautiful views and memories made!"

"The house was clean, cozy and felt like a home. They have everything you could possibly need and it's well organized so you're not searching for stuff. A short walk down the hill and you're in town. (Walking back up hill is great exercise)! The farmer's market is always a good time. Red Dog Bar & Bistro had good food and live music and we always hit Havana Cafe when in W. Jefferson. We've booked 4 other VRBOs in W. Jefferson and this is the best so far. Thanks Michele "

"We came for a wedding and opted for this property over the proposed hotel stay at wedding rate. Great decision! The beds were super comfy. The bathrooms and kitchen were so nice and stocked with all you need. The outside deck in the mornings where we listened to birds and had coffe was great. The owner is an excellent communicator... It was clean and well-stocked and having two toilets upstairs was nice. My husband and I (in our 60's) stayed in the basement in the bunk beds, a first, and we have never experienced a spiral staircase like that!
