"We recently stayed to visit our son and his family. The location was great as we were close to them and were able to take day trips with them to the aquarium, shopping, and restaurants. We loved being directly on the water and would really like to come back during the warmer months. It was too cold during our stay but we knew that coming in. We can't wait for another visit! "

"We spent 5 nights 6 days that included New Year's Eve and Day at this cabin with our family of 12. The cabin fit our family perfectly. We visited Asheville, Grandfather Mountain, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk and Downtown Boone on this trip. All within driving distances from this location. I would highly recommend this cabin."

"We were staying near the Rock Barn spa for a friends birthday. The house is lovely, clean and well appointed. Really enjoyed our weekend there and we were just 5 min away from the nearby spa."
