We spent the sunshiny days hiking along the Tanawha trail, out to Hebron Falls (a perfect family ‘playground’), and the short but sweet Green Knob loop. All of these were a a quick and lovely 15’ drive from the cabin.The cabin was well-stocked w firewood and we truly enjoyed a blazing fireplace on the colder nights. The deck and gazebo are extraordinary, and the creek flowing underneath...

"my husband and I and our four children stayed for a week at this property. The view was beautiful. The bathrooms were nice and clean. However, the kitchen was under cared for. We noticed coffee grounds in the silverware tray and felt the need to wash all of the dishes prior to using them due to grease. The couches were very small and it was difficult to relax on them. Great for formal settings. We enjoyed the fireplace but was disappointed to see there were no matches available for the outdoor...

"This property was perfect for our group of two small families. The kids loved their own space upstairs and the fire pit for s'more's was a huge hit! The back yard was the perfect space for them to to play. The host reached out multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed and were satisfied. Can not beat the location! We will be back! "
